Waves crashed against the sand
Hitting the beach with tremendous force
I stood there looking across the ocean
Watching the sun disappear once again
Thoughts filled my head
Dreams flooded my mind
Where will I go?
How will I get there?
When will I return?
Dreams were explored by my imagination
I stepped back from the sea
My footprints in the sand
A memory for all
A memory for me
Of when my journey began
But with one magnificent wave
It disappeared
Nothing lasts forever.
The road through the noon-time forest began
A never-ending trail of adventure
Freedom
And dreams
We had travelled this road before
Never at this time though
The forest was coming alive
Little animals scurried through autumn leaves
Finding their home before winter snow comes
Exploring the ever changing maze of their home
Experiencing the wonder of the fantasised forest
We got deeper and deeper into the forest
Reality seeming to get further from us
Dreams getting closer
Life disappearing
Problems no more in existence
We travelled the never-ending trail
Of the noon-time forest.
